About Us & How We Got Started

Hi! I’m Collette Branham. I found a passion in construction early on. I watched my Dad, who is a master carpenter and General Contractor, build his business, taking on projects ranging from 1000 SF tiny homes to 17,000 SF castles, contract work with Tennessee weatherization programs, among other residential and commercial work. I learned how to approach and accomplish any job, large or small. After working with him as his Project Manager for 12 years, I chose to follow in his footsteps and became a Licensed General Contractor opening up my own business, Tristar Building and Design, LLC. The three stars represent my children who mean the world to me. My adoring husband assists me on every job and provides exceptional support. I thoroughly enjoy my job, and I am passionate about providing quality work. By establishing meaningful connections with my customers and incorporating the details that make their project unique, I’m able to have a truly one-of-a-kind experience with each of my customers. I provide excellent communication and detail-oriented work. I want my customers to feel at ease and know that I’m striving for excellence on their project.
